30 days 'til the BIG DAY!

Dress alterations (for both brides), check...
Cake, check...
Catering confirmation, check...

We are checking things off our list left and right, finding paint on toes and under fingernails from last minute DIY Pinterest projects, and trying to do all we can to keep each other calm yet excited for the big day. Of course, we've got a few other big-type days mixed in, to keep us on our (paint-covered) toes... I had my big debut at the Wyly Theater for Oral Fixation, and Heather graduates with her Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology this coming Saturday.

The Oral Fixation show has led to a story which will be published in D Magazine's July issue, featuring some of the things I spoke about during the show, as well as some photographs yet to be taken of the both of us.

Heather's commencement gown and hood are hung upstairs in preparation for the conferral of degrees ceremony in just a few days time.

We've also celebrated two of our three scheduled bridal showers, one with Heather's family in Minnesota, one with friends here in Dallas.

We've been surrounded with love and support every step of the way, receiving cards, gifts and letters from family and friends who are so excited about our wedding day. And we've also received many wonderful gifts on our GoFundMe account, which grows day by day and will help us offset the cost of having two weddings: the religious ceremony here in Dallas, and the legal one in Boston. To those of you who've contributed - we are eternally grateful. And to those of you who've been meaning to ... there's still time! ;)  ...call now, operators are standing by!

Still considering joining us for the Must-Dash 5K on the morning of June 14? There's still time to sign up! Let us know if you have already or will be registering, so we can pick up your packet before the race. Heather and I will be jogging at the semi-leisurely pace of around a 15-minute mile, so don't worry too much about not being able to keep up. We're not that fast. ;) But at least we get out there - and it's for a great cause, so please plan to lace up and join us for the morning jog.

We're all but ready and each day finds us more certain that we're right in the center of God's best for us. We feel so richly blessed indeed and so very much in love.

Let the countdown continue - we've got this! We can't wait to celebrate with YOU!!
