372 days ago Amanda and I stood before friends in Lowell, MA, and became legally married. When we flew back to Texas, our marriage was no longer valid. Today, however, The Supreme Court ruled in favor of marriage equality. In EVERY state, our marriage is now valid. We stand today on equal ground with every other married couple in the USA. Today we celebrate a victory, a step forward, for LGBT rights. Tomorrow we work towards justice for LGBT persons regarding work, housing, and medical care.
